From wedding day officiants to florals and décor, a lot goes into organizing your wedding day. It is no surprise that many of my couples come to me asking for referrals when building their wedding vendor team. To make things as easy as possible, I have carefully curated a preferred vendor list as well as some helpful tips to help you find trusted vendors for your special day.
Do your research and compile a list of business’ in each vendor category whose style, capabilities and budget align with your vision.
Read reviews from past clients to get a sense of what their experience was like. This is a great way to learn more about a specific vendors communication, professionalism, work ethic and personality.
Have an in person or virtual meeting to discuss your wedding vision with each vendor and determine if your personalities mesh well. You want to make sure you get along as they will be in touch with you often in the months and weeks leading up to your wedding day.
Ensure each vendor has a contract that is clear and to the point. Contracts are meant to protect both yourself and the vendor.
